Lee and many others, May 23, 2011 at the Stop AIPAC Conference, DC - protesting during Mr. Netanyahu's visit.
Special Request to Members of the Press:
The media is biased against our candidate, Lee Whitnum. Case in point: In 2010 Ms. Whitnum submitted a press release about Richard Blumenthal's failure to regulate the hedge fund industry as he had promised. It also pointed out he failed to use the Martin Act which would have prevented the fiasco at AIG FP, in Wilton, CT. AIG FP was dubbed the greatest "villain" in this economic downturn by President Obama. Also AIG FP executives received bonuses, something Blumenthal said he would prevent. Ms. Whitnum, a 2010 senate candidate did extensive research for her press release. Not one media source covered the story. There was a spell-check error and that was what a reporter chose to write about. Hartford Courant was misspelled Hartford Current. A spell-check error versus the economic downturn of the entire world? It was obvious that everything she did or said was twisted to make her appear in the most unfavorable light.
The attitude trickles down from the top. Party chair, Nancy Dinardo operates in an extremely biased manner; never once did she attempt to rein in the Democratic bloggers and, unfortunately, many lies still exist. Our candidate is a well-read, articulate, intelligent woman but you’d never know it based on the Internet postings by people she has never met. Let's all try for a little bit of respect this time around.

Here's the speech that apparently caused so much controversy. As for Drew Marzullo's comment that he was nauseated - hey, Drew, stay local pal - foreign policy obviously sickens you.
